The linebacker of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Shaquil Barrett, counted the first touchdown from his nine-year career in the NFL on Sunday and devoted his winning to his daughter, Arrayah,who passed away earlier this year after a drowning accident.
Barretttold reporters in a press conference when the Buccaneers gained a 27-17 win on the Chicago Bears in Tampa during Raymond James Stadium, 'I feel like a divine intervention to get the spotlight into my baby girl'.
He recalled, 'The camera was highlighted on me when I created the play. I said to Arrayah that I love you, miss you and wish you were here. So, I am glad that I can get some limelight on her and the Lord above as he is the sole reason of why we are her and trust over his plan'.
Shaquil Barrett Shared Three Kids With His Wife, Jordanna
Shaquil Barrett has shared three other kids with his wife, Jordanna,consisting of an 11-year-old son, Shaquil Jr.,an 8-year-old daughter, Aaliyah and a 10-year-old girl child, Braylon.He wore a chain featuring a heart-liked pendant throughout the press conference.
The chain features a snapshot of his daughter, Arrayah.He mentioned, 'I will always be playing for my family ahead. Though that extra motivation makes me go for a little harder for her, it didn't stop me sucking'. He added, 'It is always going to be suck. Though, I can shine through the spotlight for a little bit.
The linebacker returned through the field after an injury to Achilles that sidelined him last season. Despite his frustration over the injury, Shaquil Barrettsaid it was a blessing moment in disguise as it offered him fruitful time with his daughter, Arrayah.

Arrayah Passed Away Due To Drowning Into A Pool At Tampa Bay Residence
Barretttold the outlet on July 31 that this is a tough battle. Daily battle. Today, I felt heavier than I did in the last couple of days. He further continued, 'Her smile, I missed her very much. Her energy is like putting her to bed every night and reading stories. She brought too much wholeness, completeness and brightness to our lives. His daughter, Arrayah,died while drowning in a pool at the family's residence in Tampa Bay on the morning of April 30. The authorities reached when they got a call that a kid had fallen into the pool.
The little girl child was brought to the local hospital, where she was announced dead despite the lifesaving measures. Police said, 'It's not assumed to be suspicious during this time, though a purely tragic and accidental incident'. The Buccaneers later sent their sympathies to Barrettin a statement on X, previously known as 'Twitter'.
Before her demise, Arrayah marked her second birthday on April 19. Her father posted a tribute on Instagram featuring the toddler dressed in a pink tutu.
Happy 2nd birthday to my adorable little girl. You are so sweet and charming. You brought completeness to our family. I adore you, baby girl, Barrett stated.
