During an interview with Variety at an event Peter Facinelli, who played Dr. Carlisle Cullen discussed his thoughts on reprising his role for the TV show. He also mentioned the announced revival of Nurse Jackie. Expressed his willingness to return for both projects expressing his happiness about their comeback.

See what he had to say "I'm first and foremost a fan myself. If they reach out to me I'll definitely be there.. If not I'll certainly be watching. I'm thrilled to see them making a comeback. I have an affection for both the filmmakers and producers."

Facinelli and other familiar faces from Twilight could potentially make appearances in the TV show, as characters paying homage to the movies without being tied down as direct continuations.

The new Cruel Intentions series adopted this strategy by casting an actor from the 1999 film, in a character. Similarly the movie Hes All That followed suit by featuring Rachael Leigh Cook and Matthew Lillard in roles compared to She's All That.

Facinelli found himself enrolled at the Tisch School of The Arts, at New York University which proved to be a platform for honing his craft. However he acknowledged that studying acting is quite different from studying law. Acting encompasses an array of techniques, ideas and perspectives that make it both intricate and straightforward. At Tisch, Facinelli trained with the Atlantic Theatre Company while also exploring techniques, like Stanislavski and Meisner among others.
