The soldier returns home to experience normal problems and shares grief with people with similar grief. X-Men First Class was another movie from the X-Men franchise that Lawrence did. She takes on the role of the shapeshifter, who is blue and can transform herself into anybody. This was a difficult character in terms of costume and preparation and was played brilliantly by Lawrence, who took on this character and became one of the best characters from the X-Men series. She owned the alien sexuality which was the demand of the movie.

Many would argue that Jennifer features in action, and thriller movies only, but Silver Linings Playbook negates this claim. Lawrence performs as the main lead in this rom-com, who is a widow, and helps a man understand his relationship and feelings towards his wife, and in doing so, falls in love with him. The film with its emotional dialogues was in itself iconic and Jennifer’s role as a protagonist won her the Academy Award for Best Actress.

It can easily be said that this movie was Lawrence’s big break in Hollywood and her iconic acting in this movie forced people to see the talents and the range that she portrayed.
