Jennifer Lopez is currently speaking candidly about her life after giving birth to twins. During an event held at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles on Sunday, the renowned actress of Monster-in-Law fame presented her trainer, Tracey Anderson, with the Outstanding Achievement in Fitness award at the Daytime Beauty Awards.
Anderson has been a source of inspiration
While on stage, Lopez, who is 54 years old, shared how Anderson motivated her to feel better about her body after giving birth to her twins, Maximilian "Max" David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, in 2008.
The hitmaker of "Jenny from the Block" began by stating that she has been doing a lot of reflection lately, revisiting the past versions of herself to fully embrace the person she is now. She further added that Anderson has inspired and encouraged her to celebrate every version of her body over the years and to continue to elevate as her own life and needs change.
During a period characterized
Lopez also explained that Anderson came into her life around the same time that her twins did. "I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy immediately following the birth of my twins. During a time of personal insecurity and uncertainty, I reached out to her, questioning whether I would ever regain my pre-pregnancy self, a sentiment shared by many new mothers," Lopez expressed from the podium.
She strives to maintain equilibrium
Lopez is the mother of Max and Emme, whom she shares with her former spouse, Marc Anthony. "After the singer's delivery, Jennifer and Marc were elated, thrilled, and filled with joy," exclusively revealed her manager, Simon Fields.
During the Hollywood premiere of her film Shotgun Wedding in January, the native of the Bronx candidly discussed the delicate balance between her career and her role as a mother to her now 15-year-old twins. Additionally, she highlighted her role as a stepmother to Ben Affleck's children - Violet Anne, 17, Seraphina Rose, 13, and Samuel, 11 - from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner.
Most exceptional attributes
However, I am a human being just like everyone else, and there are moments when I silently endure suffering. In May, the talented individual from The Wedding Planner made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, where she discussed the challenges of raising teenagers.
She takes great pride in her accomplishments
It is indeed a demanding task. Initially, you have this precious baby who becomes your closest companion, always wanting to be in your presence. But suddenly, it changes, and they start saying, 'Leave my room'," she elaborated. Despite the difficulties, during the premiere of her thrilling film The Mother in May, she did mention that her children take pride in her achievements.
Occasionally, they even follow in their parent's footsteps, such as Emme, who occasionally showcases her vocal talents. In 2019, Lopez shared a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube, revealing Emme's abilities as she prepared for her first live performance of her single "Medicine."
