At the start of the dating

Lindsay and Carl had to defend their relationship against most of the Summer House cast, who were skeptical about their romance. Lindsay and Carl began dating in October 2021 when they decided to take a chance on their seven-year friendship and explore a romantic relationship.

They had attempted to date three years prior, but the timing needed to be corrected. Lindsay stated that following their engagement last summer, I threw my timelines out the door. They do not exist. It doesn't matter which comes first—a wedding, marriage, or a baby. This is my life partner; we want everything together.
