Arnold Schwarzenegger popularly known for his role in The Terminator is the actor who got the body most viewers which to have.
Although this is a good thing, this was the source of a minor feud between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Arnold.
The Terminator star was the first man to win the Mr. Olympia title seven times and also has arguably contributed most to bodybuilding. Schwarzenegger also loves to train with world-class bodybuilders who push one another to the brink of their physical capacity.
However, his friend, Tom Arnold, wasn’t prepared to face the champion’s mindset when he worked out with the bodybuilding icon earning him some insults that left him salty.
Tom Arnold stated in an appearance on Conan that this minor dispute started when they both starrred in the 1994 James Cameron film True Lies.
Unlike the former Mr. Olympia, Tom Arnold was never into working out or leading a healthy lifestyle and Arnold Schwarzenegger wasnt afraid to show some tough love to push him to better himself.

According to Tom, since starring in True Lies, he and his costar had began working out together to better his shape but he felt intimidated to work out around the former bodybuilding champion as he received several unintentional insults.
According to the comedian, Schwarzenegger’s home gym is unlike any other gym in the world. “It’s like if Liberace had a gym, it’s like a Versailles. There are columns and statues and paintings of his family and it’s just a weird vibe in there,” explained the actor. He also said the seven-time Mr. Olympia had good intentions although sometimes portrayed in a hurtful way. “He wants to fix me,” said Arnold.
However, the comedian also said the bodybuilding icon’s tough love felt intimidating. “I’m pretty good at working out, you know, by myself. But then, you know, it’s so intimidating. He (Schwarzenegger) goes, your calves look fantastic. And then he insults me,” explained Tom Arnold during his segment on Conan on TBS.

But Tom Arnold’s view of the Terminator star changed after he had a huge health scare. in a recent interview with the People, he mentioned he was happy at being pushed so hard as he luckily survived a minor stroke in 2022 due to his weight.
I was giving the kids a bath and turned around to count to 10 — it's what I do to get my kids out of the bathtub — when suddenly my vision in my right eye went black as if there was a curtain coming down, the Roseanne alum explained.
Though parts of his vision came back before he went to bed, he called his ophthalmologist and got tests run. Another doctor later revealed he suffered a mini-stroke and Arnold checked into the UCLA hospital for additional testing.
This led him to begin his weight loss journey dropping from 285 lbs to 210 lbs in six months. Speaking to The People, Tom Arnold mentioned that he's feeling better in his skin and is proud of the transformation.
He also added that he was filming with Arnold Schwarzenegger and he feels good that he is now below what he weighed when he starred on True Lies.

The True Lies co-stars have a
continued their great friendship even decades after working together. And although they often get into minor word battles over body workouts, the two stars have shown they have nothing but love and respect for each other.
