Jimmy Kimmel, the very well renowned and popular comedian is a host of the most famous late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live that aired every night since 2003 is now almost 20 seasons long. Despite feeling very discouraged at his less than stellar lineup of guests on the show, he ended up concluding the night with a solid joke: I want to apologise to Matt Damon. We had run out of time. The joke was so hilarious that Kimmel began concluding every single episode with it, kicking off one of the most comedic feuds in television history. On the other hand, Matt Damon can't seem to get a guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live, no matter how hard he tries. The scheduling changes have caused a hilarious overly dramatic fomance between the two and there have been viral videos and accidental award show meetups throughout the years.

In the segment where celebrities read mean tweets and being mocked from anonymous twitter users about themselves, Matt is seen making a disappointing face sarcastically, when Jimmy’s name pops up. Matt’s insult came from a familiar face – Jimmy himself rather than twitter trolls.
