We are living in a golden age of television where we get countless options between new streaming services and traditional networks and all these shows are produced with high quality and compelling writing. With social media, fans share their favourite shows which create a lot of buzz and end up being a huge hit.
But the disadvantage of such a variety is that some of the fantastic shows didn't get the audience they deserve. So here are some of the most underrated shows varying from laugh-out-loud comedies to  adventurous sci-fi.

Created by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, Reaper follows Sam who is a young adult and got to know on his 21st birthday that his soul is sold out to the devil by his parents before he was born. And now he must work for the devil as a bounty hunter. The show is amazing and creative, making good memories for its viewers.

The show is a British horror parody And the show focuses around fictional horror writer Garth Marenghi who played his part in  the setting of Dar place hospital. It is considered as one of the most underrated shows and incredible in its own way.

Mr. Inbetween (2018-2021)

Mr. Inbetween is an Australian dark comedy inspired by the movie The Magician. This series talks about criminal-for-hire Ray who struggles to find balance between his profession and his regular  responsibilities such as his relationship with his daughter. The show has a solid 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but it still didn't get the widen wider audience that it deserved.

Better things is one of the best drama dramas of 2010. It ran for more than six years on FX. The show features a person from Los Angeles who juggles between taking care of her ageing mother and being a single mom. The Co-creator of the show, Pamela Adlon relates with the show and called it as “an exaggerated version” of her life. The show is praised by many as witty and fun. Although the show won many awards, it didn't get the same hype as other shows on FX.

This comedy drama runs for two seasons starting from 2015. The plot follows an American intelligence officer who is given a task to prevent Iran from starting a nuclear war and thus has to go into danger by working as an undercover official far away from the safety net. The show is fun and includes dark humour to keep you engaging with laugh-out-loud moments spread across the show.

This latest TV show is based on the book series, slough house. The series can be found on Apple TV plus. It is about a team of MI 5 misfits who find it hard to balance between their jobs. They aren't great at their job,but  not terrible enough to be fired. As of yet two seasons all aired with another one coming up soon. The show received 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and the audience liked the second season far better than the first one.

This sci-fi thriller runs for two season On starz. The show is about a UN employee who discovered that the agency he is working from has a way to do a parallel universe in a Cold War with ours. And he also discovers that he is their top level spy on the other side of the world. Both seasons received equal praise from the audience.
