Hugh Jackman, renowned actor and protagonist of Deadpool 3, has recently unveiled a workout video that serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment towards upholding his physical well-being amidst the temporary suspension of his inaugural appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At present, the ensemble of Deadpool 3 eagerly anticipates the resolution of the SAG-AFTRA strike, which stands as a prerequisite for the resumption of production activities. Despite the delay, Jackman, who portrays Wolverine in the film, is ensuring that he remains in top shape. Taking to Twitter, Jackman shared a training update video accompanied by the fitting caption "Hurts so good."
To uphold his physical well-being
In the video, the actor can be seen playfully expressing some discomfort after completing an exercise, eliciting laughter from himself and a woman, likely his trainer, Beth Lewis. Given the potential truth behind the rumours surrounding Deadpool 3's storyline, Jackman must maintain his physical fitness to portray Wolverine at his best.
As a result of the recently concluded Writers Guild of America strike, which lasted for 148 days, and the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, several Marvel Studios projects have been impacted.
The process of the film took place
According to director Shawn Levy, filming for Deadpool 3 was halted midway through production due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The film began filming in May and was paused in July. If the resumption of filming were to occur this month, as suggested by Levy, it is plausible that the production could be concluded by December.
Although this proposed timeline allows for minimal room for mistakes, the immense anticipation surrounding the release of Deadpool 3 and the absence of any other scheduled Marvel films prior to it implies that the studio will exert every effort to guarantee the film's readiness for its designated release date.
