Unfriended is one of the first feature films to be entirely set on a computer screen, with viewers only able to watch a movie which is shown through a screencast of a MacBook. It stars Shelley Hennig, Moses Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki, and Courtney Halverson as six high school students. They all join a skype call when someone unknown joins the call that happens to be another student who has recently committed suicide after being bullied by  them. Unfriended premiered at the Fantasia Festival on July 20, 2014. Even after receiving mixed reviews, grossing $62 million when they only had a $1 million budget. A stand-alone sequel, Unfriended: Dark Web, was released in 2018.

Ouija: Origin Of Evil (2016)

This one hour horror supernatural film is a prequel to the 2014 film Ouija. The plot revolves around a widow and her family introducing a Ouija board into their phoney seance business, thereby inviting a spirit that possesses the youngest daughter. It is a star studded 2016 film which includes  Elizabeth Reaser, Lulu Wilson, Annalise Basso, and Henry Thomas. Fortunately, Ouija: Origin of Evil was a great box office success making over $81 million internationally worldwide. Even the critics gave positive reviews.

Berlin Syndrome is a psychological horror thriller film that was released at the Sundance Film Festival back in early 2017. It is  directed by Cate Shortland and is based on the novel of the same name which is written  by Melanie Joosten. The film introduces the audience to a young Australian photographer who travels to Germany, where she meets an attractive young English teacher. After a stormy night of passion with him, the photographer is suddenly taken hostage by her apparent lover. It received a lot of praise for its direction, cinematic shots and acting.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is a 2019 Drama crime two hour two minutes film. Breaking Bad is one of the most successful television shows in the history of Hollywood entertainment. El Camino is part of the Breaking Bad franchise and is known as a sequel for the same television series. The plot is the continuation of Jesse Pinkman’s story who teamed up with his former teacher Walter White throughout the series to build a crystal meth empire based in Albuquerque. Apart from Aaron Paul, many Breaking Bad actors such as  Jesse Plemons, Krysten Ritter, Charles Baker, Matt Jones, Robert Forster, Jonathan Banks, and Bryan Cranston appeared in the movie. The show’s creator Vince Gilligan wrote, directed, and produced El Camino, he came up with the idea of this film back in 2017 on the series’ tenth anniversary. By November 218 the shooting had started and a trailer was released in August 2019. The film premiered in theatres and on the streaming platform Netflix.  Due to the positive reviews and success, it received several awards such as Best Movie Made for Television at the Critics' Choice Television Awards and Best Motion Picture Made for Television at the Satellite.Awards. El Camino was also nominated four times at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards for Outstanding Television Movie.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020) is a two hour film about a young woman ( who goes with her boyfriend on a trip and meets his parents. The film has a very interesting approach with narration as the main narrative is intercut with footage of a school janitor going to work, with both stories intersecting by the end.
