The Cheesecake Factory is a favourite show of Sunny Hostin and a few of her co-hosts on The View. Following the global success of a TikTok video mocking the restaurant as a first date spot, the 55-year-old American lawyer and journalist announced her love for the eatery on Wednesday's broadcast of the ABC Talk program.

Paloma, her 17-year-old daughter, has "ACT Prep and there’s a Cheesecake Factory five minutes away," so she remarked, "I want to stand up for The Cheesecake Factory because I go there every week."

Hostin's love was shared by co-host Sara Haines. Hostin declared, "Sara and I both agree that they make the best dirty martini," while Haines, 46, bragged about her passion for booze and its blue cheese-stuffed olives. "It's excellent," she remarked.

In addition to saying that "everyone's lovely" and that Haines is having a "very nice time" at the well-known restaurant, she disclosed her favourite foods, which are Tex-Mex egg rolls and chicken dumplings. Haines said, "Make sure to include the corn tamale cakes." "By the way, they don't carry them anymore," Haines said in response to Hostin's statement.

The Video Went Viral!

Earlier this month, a video of Alicia, a lady on a date with Jay, going to The Cheesecake Factory and recording her while she waited there refusing to get out of the car, went viral and set the internet on fire. "Who takes someone who looks like this to a chain restaurant?" said she. I'm unable to enter the Cheesecake Factory. I'll pass away."

Jay said to her, "Maybe we're not right for each other, so respectfully, I'm just going to drop you off at home," adding that he had "expectations" of his own.

"I went into the date with certain goals in mind: to be a gentleman, to treat you with respect, to pay for your supper, to pick you up, and to keep you safe. Which I think I've accomplished," he declared. Conversely, I have certain demands of a female I go out with on our first date. Along with being cooperative, I also expect her to show respect.

It turned out that Jay had missed their first reservation at another restaurant because Alicia had been running late. Joy Behar commented, "This is a nice guy, he was trying his best," on The View. She also made him wait for an hour. She made him wait, so he had to cancel his dinner at a nicer restaurant. That's the reason she visited The Cheesecake Factory, a delightful restaurant with delicious cuisine, by the way."

Women Refused To Go On A First Date!

A list of "places that women refuse to go on a first date" became popular on X, the old Twitter platform, after the video had over 8 million views on TikTok. Several well-known eateries were mentioned, including Red Lobster, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili's, Applebees, IHOP, Denny's, Olive Garden, and Wingstop.

The guy's house, the gym, the cinema, the bowling alleys, sporting events, and bars for drinks, clubs, hookah lounges, buffets, family get-togethers, and coffee or ice cream dates were among the other locations listed.

As many as two co-hosts of The View backed up Farah Griffin's assertion. According to Griffin, Hostin's decision to go on her first date with her 24-year-husband Emmanuel at Popeye's was a "good move." According to Joy Behar, she went to the Empire Chinese for her first date with her longtime partner Steve Janowitz.

Stars Behind The Cheesecake Factory!

Not just the co-hosts of The View were positioned behind The Cheesecake Factory. On Tuesday, LL Cool J told X that he was "going to Cheesecake Factory tonight," and on his broadcast, ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith became very angry about it.

"What the devil is wrong with Cheesecake Factory, first of all? He stated, "There's nothing wrong with Cheesecake Factory." “Not only is there nothing wrong with The Cheesecake Factory! The Cheesecake Factory ain’t that damn cheap!”

Regarding Julia and Jay, they had a conversation on YouTube on October 18 with Kevin Wesley of The Truth Factory, discussing their thoughts on the fallout from their viral video. The two met in New York City. Although Alicia acknowledged that she could have acted differently and acknowledged her part in the incident, she stuck to her guns and refused to eat at a chain restaurant, claiming that "a queen does not do that I have an imagine to protect."

Women have been applauding Jay for handling the talk so well, and several of them have asked him to take them to The Cheesecake Factory, which he mentioned was a special place for him. However, he admitted to Wesley that he had had trouble finding someone who showed interest in him. "Women kind of have this image of me based on the video, which hasn't helped," he stated. "It's like they might think everything about me is reflected in that video, and I don't think it is." Alicia also explained her decision to record the scene despite Jay's reservations. Alicia remarked, "I felt like [he] didn't see my value." "At that precise moment, I thought I needed my viewers' support." I talk about relationships and stuff like that, so I figured it would be a nice chance to talk to someone about it and find out what they think." The two haven't gone on a second date, which is not surprising. On weekdays, The View airs on ABC at 11 a.m. ET.
