Thirty year old american singer songwriter and actress is often called the pop culture icon and is famous for her four octave vocal range and whistle register. She has received immense success and appreciation awards throughout her career, including two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award, one Bambi Award, two Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, nine MTV Video Music Awards, and 30 Guinness World Records.

Early Music Career

Grande began her music career at just 15 years of age and rose to fame for playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious and Sam & Cat. Later she started uploading YouTube videos of her covering songs which ended up getting her a contract with Republic Records. In 2013, she released her debut album and her single Yours Truly topped the US Billboard 200 and her other single The Way, reached the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100.

Achievements and Success

Ariana Grande is one of the world's best-selling music artists, who has sold over 90 million records globally and all her studio albums  are certified platinum or higher. She has broken numerous records on the Billboard chart whether it's her albums, her songs and or herself as an artist. Grande is the most streamed female artist of all time, the most streamed female artist of early and late 2010s on Spotify and Apple Music, the most followed female artist on Spotify, and the most subscribed female solo artist on YouTube. These achievements and recognition itself brings her international success and makes her a mainstream artist. In 2016 and 2019 Grande’s name was mentioned on Time's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world and also on the Forbes Celebrity 100 in 2019 and 2020. In 2018, she was named Woman of the Year. The very next year Grande was labelled  the greatest pop star of 2019. Billboard titled her as the most successful female artist to debut in the 2010s. As of 2023, Rolling Stone ranked her amongst the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.

Business Ventures

Due to her immense and flourishing success, Grande decided to experiment and venture into the cosmetics, fragrances, makeup and skincare lines. She also has a large social media following and was the most followed woman on Instagram in 2019. As of 2023, she has a total following of over 370 million. Her fragrance line, which was released in 2015 was able to exceed the $1 billion revenue mark in sales throughout 2022.

Apart from music, Ariana has worked with many charitable non profit organisations and she openly advocates for animal rights, mental health awareness and gender, racial, and LGBT equality. Pop princess Ariana Grande has always been supporting charities and good causes for the society but her unforgettable One Love Manchester concert that really put her in the philanthropic spotlight. She organised a concert to support the victims and their families of the 2017 Manchester bombing which killed more than twenty two show attenders and injured more than 500. She was able to raise £17 million from public donations, ticket sales and funds from her  re-release of her single, One Last Time, and the live audio version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow that she performed on stage, the same night. Previously too, she has used her musical powers and abilities multiple times to fundraise for other causes such as Black Lives Matter. More recently, during the pandemic, she gave away donations between  $500 and $1,000 each to different fans in order to support them financially. Apart from that, she also  supported a COVID-19 fund named Project 100, which aimed to provide $1,000 digital payments to 100,000 families struggling because of the pandemic. In 2020, Ariana gave away more than $2 million worth of therapy to fans by partnering with an online mental health portal, BetterHelp.
