Born in Hollin Sue Cullen on December 23, 1979 in Astoria, Oregon, Holly is a model, showgirl, reality TV actress and the ex-girlfriend of Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner.

Holly being a blonde beauty, became Hugh’s “number one girl” during her stay at the mansion, but eventually moved out in 2008 after their breakup and subsequently spoke about her bad experiences as a Bunny and being in a relationship with Hugh.

Luckily for Holly, just few years after she broke up with Hugh and regained her self worth, she found love with Pasquale Rotella, the founder of Electric Daisy Carnival, the largest electronic dance music festival. The two got married at Disneyland on Sept. 10, 2013, and had two wonderful children.

The former Playboy Bunny noted that being a mother was the greatest project and joy she has ever experienced; “learning how to be a mother is the best project in the world.” she stated “I never thought I would be so happy – especially on so little sleep!”

Speaking on the career path she wants her daughter to follow in an interview with Yahoo Parenting in 2015, Holly stated that she wishes her daughter doesn't follow her footsteps and steers clear of the Playboy Mansion.

“When she is an adult, she will be able to do what she wants, but from day one I’ve tried to raise her to know she has value, her body parts have value, and she doesn’t have to do something cheap or tawdry to get attention,” Madison told Yahoo! Parenting.

“If she wanted to [be a Bunny] — and God forbid she did — I would tell her my whole experience with it and I’d be honest that it wasn’t what I thought it would be.”

In fact, Madison revealed that keeping her daughter from making the same mistakes she did was one of the reasons she wrote Down the Rabbit Hole, her tell-all book about her time as Hugh Hefner‘s number one girlfriend.

“I wanted my side of the story out there. I never had a voice. It was always shaped by the TV show or by Playboy or Hef himself. But I want my daughter to know why I made the decisions I did,” Madison says. “Since writing the book, I’ve had a lot of practice defending myself and the choices I made and I think that has been good practice for discussing those decisions with her.”

And if there’s anything that Madison wants her daughter to learn from her being a celebrity with a hurtful past, it’s to not be in a hurry. Don’t feel like you have to have made it by a certain age.

Holly’s second child Forest Leonardo was born August 7, 2016.

But Forest’s birth came with so much complications that many speculated that it was one of the reasons Holly and Pasquale split just few years after his birth.

Immediately forest was born, he was taken to neonatal intensive care unit and hooked up to a million machines. Speaking with PEOPLE around the time of Forest’s ordeal, Holly shared that the medical staff took him away to get the fluid out of his lungs. First it was the fluid, then it was jaundice, then his eyes weren’t dilating, and that caused a huge scare for Holly as she spent hours thinking her baby couldn’t see.

After a few weeks, doctors finally deemed the child to be healthy and mom and dad were able to bring the baby boy home. Since his birth, Holly has tried to keep forest out of the spotlight while giving him the best of everything life has to offer.
