James Caviezel was born on September 26, 1968, in Mount Vernon, Washington and grew up in a devout Catholic family and attended Catholic school throughout his childhood. After graduating from high school, he went on to study at Bellevue College in Washington state. However, he dropped out of college to pursue his passion for acting and began his career in the film My Own Private Idaho, where he played the part of the Airline Clerk in 1991.
