John Travolta is a much-respected actor in Hollywood who rose to fame as early as the 1970s and has enjoyed a steady rise in his career over the years.

Is John Travolta Gay
Since his big break in the 1970s, the rumors of John Travolta being homosexual began to spread and blew up in 1980. However, he has always denied them affirming that he was completely straight and had no feelings for men.

His open denial of the rumors eventually caused them to die down. But in 2010, actress Carrie Fisher fueled these rumors again by stating that John Travolta is openly gay. This made the whole controversy brew again.
Not only was sexual orientation in question, but his moral conduct was also on the line as just two years after Carrie Fisher’s statement, an unknown person accused the actor of sexually assaulting him and battery. The case against Travolta got even worse when a second person joined the plea.
This was only the beginning of the truth behind the actor as in 2014 the co-pilot of John Travolta, Doug Gotterba, finally came out and stated that he had a six-year-long affair with the actor. According to him, the affair allegedly started in the early 1980s, when Doug was working for him. But after Gotterba stopped working for Travolta in 1987, he signed a “termination agreement” that included a “confidentiality clause.”
The co-pilot contested the legitimacy of the confidentiality clause when he stated his intentions to write a tell-all book about the affair he had with Travolta. Yet again John refuted the allegations and claimed that it was a blackmailing attempt for financial gain.
Gotterba, on the other hand, remained unyielding and declared that “our issue is solely about declaratory relief and will be a non-monetary ruling. This is about the truth, and it is not for Mr. Travolta to make a judgment. It is for a court to decide who is speaking the truth.” However, he did promise to keep quiet about the incident in exchange for ten million dollars from Travolta.
Barely three years after the case with his Co-pilot star, another allegation with solid evidence came to light in 2017.
This was the year when a sexual assault case was filed against John Travolta. A 21-year-old male spa employee filed a harassment allegation against him. According to the employee, John had a spa appointment after midnight and was scheduled to receive a deep tissue massage at the LaQuinta Hotel in Palm Springs, California.
But when Travolta arrived, he dropped his towel while standing and told the masseur he was “excited,” inviting him into the steam room so he wouldn’t be alone. The harassment continued when John repeatedly removed his towel to expose his buttocks. In addition, he said that Travolta, while face-down on the table, reached out and touched the masseuse inappropriately.
The complaint also claims that Travolta made several sexually explicit comments to the masseuse. John furthered these claims but this has caused everyone to believe that he is either fully gay or Bisexual. John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are active members of the Church of Scientology. Kelly Preston married John in 1991 and the couple has been together for the past 27 years.
