'TY Burrell', Sarah's proud dad
While giving tribute to all the super dads, Sarah shared a post and a picture on her Instagram with her dad and also with her husband Wells Adams and his dad quoting she wished Father's Day to all the dads in her life. This statement also signaled to Sarah's 'Modern Family' dad TY Burrell who also graced the picture with both cool dads.
The hit sitcom gained popularity as both Sarah and Burrell's on-screen chemistry was so heart touching and their role as father daughter duo was remembered by their fans for so many years labeling Phil the best on screen dad. Seeing Burrell among Sarah’s and Well’s dads made the fans quite emotional and they were overjoyed to see them together.

Fans were overwhelmed to see Sarah's post and left heartfelt comments about Sarah and Burrell under the post. Some even shed a few tears by watching them together whereas some gave Burrell the title of 'universal dad 'and 'everybody's dad'. Not only on Instagram but also on Twitter fans left cute comments on Sarah's post.
Sarah and Burrell have been through each other’s thick and thin since a long time till 2020 as Modern Family came to an end. The closeness can be imagined as Burrell was the one who would be solemnizing Sarah's and Well’s wedding last August but he had to step down because of his family emergency. Instead of Burrell, another co-star, Jesse Tyler Ferguson from 'Modern Family' showed up to celebrate the wedding.
Burrell replaced by Jesse on Sarah's wedding
Jesse shared that Burrell was supposed to preside over their wedding but he had to leave for a family emergency and in his absence, he received the call from Sarah only 12 days before her big day that now he will be solemnizing their wedding and he could not be happier than that. Jesse did call Burrell to ask what he should be speaking at their wedding and he was glad to know that Burrell had some amazing and special ideas for them so he just jotted them down in words. Jesse still feels grateful to do this.
Watching sitcoms might be all about laughter, happy memories and times but only very few sitcoms touch the emotional aspects with heart pulling moments. Modern Family was also one of them, especially episode 11 of season 11. That episode aired on 15th January 2020 acted as disturbing, emotional and overwhelming. On 15th May 2020, Willard who played the role of Burrell's dad as Frank in the season passed away leaving fans thinking about final moments between Burrell and Willard.
