The iconic cast of the widely known sitcom ‘FRIENDS’ came together for a heartwarming reunion and the event takes the viewers on a nostalgic journey. The opening scene of the event is quite familiar as Jennifer Aniston joined Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc on their old couch for an updated trivia game with David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry, the show showed the unbreakable bond between the cast.
David's character, Ross Geller stood at the trivia board recreating a memorable and iconic moment from the show with their own questions. As Schwimmer resumed his role as quiz master and asked the group: 'Rachel wrote Ross a letter and demanded he read it before they got back together. How many pages was that letter?'
LeBlanc screamed, '18 pages' while Aniston jumped in to correct, 'front and back!' while Cox blubbered, 'Wait, wait do it one more time!' In the original season of the sitcom FRIENDS season 4, episode 12 Monica and Rachel were challenged by Joey and Chandler to quiz on who knows each other better, the girls or the boys.
The cast also went over their favourite episodes including the episode The One Where Everyone Finds Out, where Phoebe finds out that Chandler and Monica are dating secretly. Kudrow screamed recreating the moment, 'My eyes! My eyes!'
The group of cast also asked to answer the age-old question, Ross slept with Chloe in season three 'The Hot Girl from the Xerox place', when Rachel and Ross were really on the break. In the episode The One With The Morning After, when Rachel finds out that her boyfriend slept with another girl Ross insists that this isn't the case as Ross and Rachel ‘were on break’ and he considers himself as temporarily single.
The host of the show James Corden asked the cast of the sitcom, if they really ‘were on a break’, Cox and Aniston Joined to scream, ‘Yes!’ but unexpectedly, Leblanc didn't side with Joey, murmuring under his breath, 'bulls**t'.
Another iconic moment was when Aniston declared that she was told not to take the role of FRIENDS because no one believed that the sitcom would be a hit. When the role was offered to her she was doing a role on the CBS sitcom Muddling Through and she confessed, 'I remember I went to the producer of the show that I was on and he said, "That show's not going to make you a star'.
The group also toured the set where the series was filmed, LeBlance excitedly said, 'Here we go!' he added 'Does Courteney still have her lines written on the table?' Kudrow said while sitting on their orange couch, 'We have such a bond from this show.'
