Actress Jennifer Eve Garth was born on April 3 1972 in the United States. She gained recognition, for her roles as Val Tyler on the sitcom "What I Like About You" and as Kelly Taylor in the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise from 2002 to 2006.

In 2012 she had her reality series called "Jennie Garth; A Little Bit Country," which aired on CMT. Her autobiography titled "Deep Thoughts From Hollywood Blonde" was published by the New American Library on April 1, 2014.

Early Life: Tuscola To Glendale

Jennifer Garth's early life traces back to Urbana, Illinois where she was born to John and Carolyn Garth. She is their child and the youngest among seven siblings. During her years she grew up on a horse ranch spanning around 25 acres between Sadorus and Arcola in Illinois. On when Jennifer was thirteen years old her family relocated from Tuscola to Glendale, Arizona.

Randy James, a talent scout, and manager, in Hollywood quickly discovered her at a talent competition while she was pursuing dance and modeling. She started attending Greenway High School as a freshman and later transferred to Apollo High School during her sophomore year. Garth, who had a passion, for acting would receive audition materials from Los Angeles. Collaborate with her nearby acting coach Jean Fowler to prepare for them.

Fame She Gained Through Her Shows 

In 1989 Garth made guest appearances, on TV shows like "Growing Pains " "Teen Angel Returns," and "Brand New Life" on NBC. These shows starred Barbara Eden and Don Murray. The year she got the role of Kelly Taylor in the series "Beverly Hills, 90210." This show ran for 10 seasons totaling 292 episodes and Jennie appeared in every one of them. She even directed two episodes.

While working on "Beverly Hills, 90210 " Garth also acted in some made-for-TV movies such as "Danielle Steels Star" (1993) "Lies of the Heart; The Story of Laurie Kellogg" (1994), and "An Unfinished Affair."

Additionally, she also made appearances in TV shows like "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" (1992) "The Larry Sanders Show" (1995). Had three episodes on "Melrose Place" (1992) as Kelly Taylor in 1996. In the movie world, her film debut was in 1996s "Power 98 " followed by starring alongside James Brolin in the movie called "My Brothers War" released in 1997.

After the conclusion of "Beverly Hills, 90210" in 2000 Garth had a recurring role, on the Fox drama series called "The $ Treet." She appeared in eight episodes of that show. In the years 2000 and 2001, Jennie was featured on the FHM magazine list of 100 women. In 2002 she co-starred with Amanda Bynes in the WB show "What I Like About You," which ran for four seasons and aired a total of 86 episodes.

The CW brought back "Beverly Hills, 90210" in the year, under the title "90210 ". Jennie made a return appearance in 20 episodes. In November 2008 Garth participated in "Are You Smarter, than a Fifth Grader?". Won $100,000 for the American Heart Association. Jennifer Garth has achieved awards throughout her career. In 1992 she was honored with the Best Young Actress Co starring in a Television Series award for her work, on "Beverly Hills, 90210." Before that, she had been nominated for a Young Artist Award in 1991 for her performance as a Best Young Actress in a Re Occurring Role for a TV Series.

Her talent and dedication earned her three Bravo Otto nominations for the show, out of which she won three in 1994. Additionally, she received a Kids Choice Award nomination. In 2008 Jennifer Garth won the Prism Award for Outstanding Performance in a Miniseries due to her role in "Girl, Positive." She also received recognition at the Character and Morality in Entertainment Awards in 2005 where she was presented with a Camie Award.

In terms of real estate ventures, Jennifer Garth made headlines with her HGTV show called "The Jennie Garth Project" back in 2014. During the show's run, she purchased Kathy Najimy's Los Angeles home spanning over 4,100 feet for $2 million in 2013. After renovating it to perfection Jennifer sold it four years later in 2018 for $4.4775 million. In addition to this transaction, it is reported that she acquired a four-bedroom house located in Pasadena worth $3.3 million in 2019 after successfully selling her Los Olivos ranch property for $1.9 million.
