The Queen of Rap, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter best known by her stage name, Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj released  Super Freaky Girl on August 12 in time for the VMAs. It's the first solo release by Minaj in three years.
The song heavily uses a sample from Rick James' 1981 song Super Freak and has been compared to Nicki Minaj's 2014 smash single Anaconda since they both use vintage samples and have explicit lyrics.

The song broke Spotify's record for a solo female rap single's largest launch. The Billboard Hot 100 charted Super Freaky Girl at No. 1, making it the second female hip-hop song by a female soloist to achieve that feat following Lauryn Hill's 1998 hit Doo Wop (That Thing). It was Minaj's first No. 1 hit as a solo artist and her third U.S. No. 1 single overall.

On Tuesday, the well-known rapper teased his followers, saying he would bring a very special gift to the event. And in typical Nicki flair, she went above and above. The queen stunned the audience when she took the stage and gave an ethereal rendition of her most recent single, Last Time I Saw You, which will be on her next album, Pink Friday 2.
Minaj performed the song's melancholy lyrics while wearing seductive lace undergarments that she covered with a large black jacket. She then said to the crowd, MTV, it wouldn't be right if I didn't give you a 'Pink Friday 2' exclusive, before performing her unheard song, much to the amazement of her admirers. She rapped, These bitches ain't better than me. Although you claimed to look up to her, I believe you do.
