Tina Knowles Overview
Célestine Ann Beyincé, better known as Tina Knowles, was a fashion designer and entrepreneur from America. She was the founder of her self-titled fashion brand as well as the co-founder of House of Deréon with her daughter, Beyoncé. A Texas native, she moved to California when she was 19 years old and began working as a make-up artist. She was subsequently employed as a dance choreographer for UAB in Birmingham, Alabama, and later became a beautician. In 1990, she established the salon Headliners in Houston and gradually made it one of the most popular hair businesses in the city. As the costume designer for Destiny’s Child, she garnered widespread recognition. In 2002, her book, titled Destiny's Style: Bootylicious Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Secrets From Destiny's Child, was published.
It seems that Beyoncé and her sister, Solange, have inherited their affinity for music from their mother, Tina Knowles. As a high school student, Tina Knowles was a member of a singing group called the Veltones. Her first husband, Matthew Knowles, is a record executive, talent manager, and entrepreneur. They exchanged wedding vows on January 5, 1980, in Galveston, Texas. From their marriage, they have two daughters, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles and Solange Knowles. She began the divorce proceedings in 2009, citing discord or conflict of personalities which hindered them from reasonable expectation of reconciliation as the reason, and was finalized in December 2011. In the summer of 2013, she began a relationship with actor Richard Lawson and tied the knot on April 12, 2015. Through Lawson, she is the stepmother of actress Bianca Lawson.

Beyonce and Featured Reaction
Beyonce, who had collaborated with on the 2003 song The Closer I Get to You, issued a statement at the time about her appearance in the video. She said that it was her mother and her father dancing to some Baby Washington songs with her right there, and the memory of that moment has hovered around her throughout her life ever since. She previously also said of her involvement that she was a part of that project because she got the wonderful opportunity to work with Luther Vandross. When she was in the studio with him, she fell in love and wanted to be here for him, because Luther Vandross was such a special person.
The featured of the video, Peete, also wrote in response to Tina Knowles' Instagram post, 'Oh my God I was in that video. To this day I still can’t watch it without crying at the images of my father ... so sad - Luther was so ill during this time.' Luther Vandross was a late R&B icon who suffered a stroke in April of 2003 and fell into a coma for two months. He tragically died at 54 from a heart attack in July of 2005. But, Luther Vandross, prior to falling ill, said in a statement to J Records that the 2003 song was based on his experiences with his family, explaining that recording that song was very emotional for him and it was based on his own experience.
Mathew married Tina Knowles in 1980 and the couple separated in 2009 after she filed for divorce. Two years later, Beyonce dismissed her father as her manager, but the pair have been back on good terms since 2018 when he attended the final show of her On the Run II Tour with husband Jay-Z. In 2011 it was revealed that Mathew and Tina Knowles' divorce was finalized after it emerged Mathew fathered a love child with former Scrubs actress Alexsandra White. Mathew later went on to marry former model Gena Charmaine Avery just two years after his divorce was finalized; Beyonce and Solange reportedly did not attend the wedding.
