The new champion of America's Got Talent has been officially announced! After a rigorous competition spanning several weeks, trainer Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane emerged as the winners of season 18 during the highly anticipated NBC finale on Wednesday night.

As a result of their victory, Adrian and his loyal canine companion have been awarded a grand prize of $1 million and the opportunity to headline the America's Got Talent Presents Superstars Live show at the prestigious Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

From the very beginning of their journey on AGT, Adrian and his border collie captivated the audience with their remarkable performances. Having showcased their talents together across the globe, their audition featured an impressive array of tricks set to Meghan Trainor's "Better When I'm Dancing."

Continuing to impress the judges during the live show, the dynamic duo delivered a routine accompanied by Smash Mouth's rendition of "I'm a Believer" and Cyndi Lauper's iconic hit "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." Their exceptional performance garnered standing ovations and unanimous praise from the panel of judges.

She displayed remarkable talent." Fellow judge Sofía Vergara enthusiastically added, "I genuinely believe that Hurricane is prepared for Vegas," unknowingly hinting at what was to come. In the finale on Tuesday, the duo showcased their full range of skills in a captivating performance set to Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."

They even invited Vergara to participate in their act. Adrian and Hurricane faced tough competition from a formidable lineup of 10 other promising contenders: synchronized dance group Murmuration, stand-up comedian Ahren Belisle, singer-musician Putri Ariani, the head-balancing duo the Ramadhani Brothers, magician Anna DeGuzman, singer Lavender Darcangelo, dance group Chibi Unity, the Mzansi Youth Choir, the 82nd Airborne Division Chorus, and the all-women Japanese dance group Avantgardey.

During the finale on Wednesday, the top 5 acts were revealed as the Ramadhani Brothers, Putri Ariani, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Anna DeGuzman, and Murmuration. Despite not making it into the top 5, the Mzansi Youth Choir received the news shortly after their elimination that they had been invited by Coldplay to perform live with them at their upcoming show. 

Following this, the Ramadhani Brothers secured the fifth position, Putri Ariani came in fourth, Murmuration claimed the third spot, and magician Anna DeGuzman achieved second place.

In addition to the participants, the final episode of Wednesday's show featured several prominent individuals, such as renowned pop and R&B vocalist Jason Derulo, accomplished musician John Batiste, acclaimed singer Leona Lewis, esteemed Iron Chef Cat Cora, legendary songwriter Diane Warren, the band Thirty Seconds to Mars, and the winner of AGT season 17, The Mayyas. 

Each of the contestants was allowed to perform alongside one of these distinguished guests for a final time on the AGT stage. Furthermore, Wednesday's finale encompassed a nostalgic reflection on all the memorable moments from season 18, as well as an exclusive preview of the upcoming Trolls movie and the new AGT spinoff, Fantasy League, featuring the return of Mel B as a judge.
