Kim and Pete met first at the 2021 Met Gala, and then at the premiere of The Kardashians, they made it to the red carpet as a capital-c Couple in April 2022. During that same month, in an interview, Kim admitted that she was a relationship kind of girl and that she felt much better and at peace this way.
After moving into a long-distance relationship as Pete shot his movie in Australia while Kim stayed in Los Angeles, the couple broke up, and this left the fans in utter shock.
On June 1, on an episode of The Kardashians, Kim revealed to Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick about her struggles dating while being on a reality show and how she even discussed this with Pete Davidson. The fans were unhappy that Pete did not appear on the show, and Kim answered that by saying it was not what he was. But he later did make an appearance that too on a level he was comfortable with.
