Annie Verret, a coordinator for The First Tee of Greater Dallas and a Jordan Spieth Family Foundation representative, is married to Jordan Spieth. The couple began dating in the 2010s after meeting while attending Texas high school.
Verret obtained a business degree from Texas Tech University's Rawls College, while Spieth attended the University of Texas in Austin to play golf. In November 2018, they exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Dallas, Texas.
First son Sammy
Sammy, the son of Jordan and Annie, was born in 2021 and has already made several well-publicized appearances, such as the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow, where he donned headphones to protect his ears from the loudness.
When Sammy, who will turn 2 in November, went with his parents to this year's Masters Par-3 Contest at Augusta National in Georgia, he stole the show. The father-son team was "testing out the rough in Augusta" in one of the images posted on the PGA Tour's official X account.
The young child was appropriately attired in a green baseball cap, a traditional white caddy uniform pinned with his father's name, and a small pair of white sneakers. Sammy could relax in the bunkers and make a few putts in other images from the occasion. In an Instagram post from the moment, Spieth said, "Rain cut Sammy's caddie debut short, but he looked the part!
Jordan Spieth is a father of two
The professional golfer, 30, announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he and his wife, Annie Verret, had a baby girl on September 12, who they have called Sophie. He added a caption, Welcome, Sophie 9/12/23, on a photo of him holding the child.
Spieth spent the holidays with his family
Tom Kim said in January that he had looked after Sammy throughout the holidays. The South Korean golfer said that after watching Tiger Woods compete in the Hero World Challenge event in the Bahamas, he and Spieth took a flight back to Dallas.
Spieth asked Kim to spend the holiday with his family, including helping with some child care, since he didn't want his pal to spend Christmas alone in Dallas.
Kim admitted to SI, I was kind of by myself. I got to spend time with the Spieth family and watch over Sammy, which was awesome. However, it has been wonderful to develop a friendship, and playing with him today was a lot of fun.
Oh, my God, Sammy's fantastic, Kim gushed to the magazine about Sammy. I've never met a more delightful young child than he is. He is incredible. I've thus observed many children, but he makes things simpler.
A significant occasion Spieth's 30th birthday was celebrated by the athlete, his family, and friends in July. Spieth shared a picture of him, Annie, and Sammy posing in front of their house with various multicolored balloons on Instagram. 30!!! I appreciate all the birthday wishes from yesterday, he continued.
