Over the years Madonna have reinvented herself more times than you could count. This has left the iconic singer looking unrecognisable in recent years and her latest look just seems to take the cake.
The Queen of Pop, who is currently 64, showed off her new look in this year Grammy awards and left fans wondering who was climbing up on stage as Madonna.
The former beauty went from an iconic blonde bombshell to a plastic dull lookalike.
Many fans and critics alike took to X (formerly twitter) to express their concern for the singer. One user commented: "If they didn’t announce that was Madonna I’d have no idea who this person presenting at the Grammy’s was."
“Whaaaaaat happened to Madonna’s face?!” Another fan asked. “This legit looks like a Madonna impersonator with pics of the real Madonna in the background. She really [expletive] up her face,” added another. “Madonna looks good for her age… if her age is 2,700-year-old vampire who eats babies and small animals alive,” quipped another. “Has Madonna been nominated for ‘Best New Face’ at this year’s Grammy Awards?” jibed another.
Piers Morgan, who is also always quick to speak him mind, cruelly shared a closeup of the Madonna at the award night on X with the caption: “I thought Halloween was in October?”

But the most shocking part of all these constant changes to the singer’s face is that over the years, she has never admitted to having work done on her face, telling the press in 2012: "I am certainly not against plastic surgery. However, I am absolutely against having to discuss it."
However, according to Daily mail, many industry experts and plastic surgeon believe that the singer has done a whole lot of work on her face.
According to Dr. Michael Horn, a board-certified plastic surgeon from Chicago in an interview with Daily Mail, he stated that Madonna’s current look has to be the result of going under the knife very recently.
"Over the years, Madonna has seemingly undergone numerous plastic surgery procedures," Horn speculated, adding that he thinks one of those procedures was a facelift, which in his opinion is "obvious" because her skin appeared "tight and pulled back with no wrinkle." He went on to say that "her eyes also seem smaller, likely due to being pulled during a facelift."
"Her appearance at the Grammy’s showed the most different-looking version of Madonna we have seen," he stated, before suggesting that he believes she also underwent rhinoplasty. "Madonna previously had a natural nose that suited her face. It appears as if she had rhinoplasty since this version has a pointy tip and seems too narrow," he said.

Botox was also evident on many areas of her face, Horn said, noting the lack of "expression lines and wrinkles" and "minimal facial movement" when she was speaking.
What is most noticeable and striking is the drastic change in Madonna’s facial shape into a more V-shaped structure, he added. She has seemingly used excessive filler over time, giving her face a full appearance and taking away from the natural and pleasing bone structure she once had. Her cheekbones are more prominent than ever and appear unnaturally high.
Apart from working on her face, it is also rumored that the singer had a butt implants done to enhance the shape of her ass. This rumor began in 2019 and Madonna have since come out to announce that she doesn’t care what people think about her body, as it is her body, and she can do what ever she wants with it.
Following all these recent speculations, Madonna once again came out to stop the rumors of her being unrecognizable stating that it was all a ploy from the photographers to degrade her.
The iconic singer also mentioned that every insult boils down to misogyny and ageism. That men don’t want to see women over 45 looking beautiful and will always try to bring them down which is why she will never be moved by the hate comments as it is only jealousy that is speaking.
