Selena Marie Gomez was born to former actress Amanda Dawn Cornett, and her Mexican husband, Ricardo Joel, in the Grand Prairie city of Texas. When she was only five years old, her parents separated, and her grandparents played an important role in her upbringing. After her parents separated, she and her twenty-one year old mother struggled to survive amidst dire poverty. Amanda's stage performances inspired Selena to choose a career in acting, and soon the little girl was attending try-outs. SOme fans instantly deduced from a blind story on the well-liked gossip website DeuxMoi that it was a reference to Gomez dating The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White. The 32-year-old, a Golden Globe winner, and his wife Addison Timlin recently divorced. Aside from that, Gomez recently finished filming the third season of her show Only Murders in the Building and traveled back to her home in Los Angeles. To top it all off, the two actors appeared on the February cover of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue 2023 alongside other up-and-coming talents.

Previously, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas dated for a short period of time in 2008, which enraged Jonas Brothers’ devotees. The two had a humorous conversation about an embarrassing date they had in Central Park back in January 2018. Among that, the five-year, ups and downs-filled relationship between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber appeared to come to an end in 2015.
