Yasmine Amanda Bleeth, known as Yasmine Bleeth, was a former American actress known for her appearances in Baywatch, an action drama series, and BASEketball, a sports comedy film. At the age of twelve, she was cast in her first movie, Hey Babe!, where she played the role of an orphan. She began her TV career with a role in the soap opera, titled Ryan’s Hope. Yasmine Bleeth was born in New York City, New York, US, on June 14, 1968. Her parents were Carina, a model, and Philip Bleeth, a business proprietor. Her father was a Russian-Jewish and German-Jewish ancestry and her mother was of Algerian descent. Her parents had connections in show business which helped her venture into an acting career when she was quite young and began appearing in commercials as a baby. While appearing in a commercial for Max Factor, she caught the attention of fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo, who proceeded to include her and her mother in his book, titled Scavullo Women.
